four years. We are one of only a handful of companies nationwide that received the award in 2005, 2006,
2007 and 2008.
When an independent external review firm scrutinized CHAN HEALTHCARE’s audit work recently, their report contained strong language — the good kind of strong language. They not only stated that CHAN HEALTHCARE’s work satisfies the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standard requiring internal audit groups to undergo an external quality assessment every five years, but took it a step further. The reviewer called CHAN HEALTHCARE a “world class organization” that has “truly restored my faith in the internal auditing profession.” He added, “Most internal auditors, in my opinion, have not adequately stepped into the spotlight and accepted the challenge of providing even more assurance on the adequacy of controls in financial, operational, and strategic areas. This is not the case with CHAN HEALTHCARE.”
