When CHAN Healthcare Auditors was formed in 1997, internal audits were virtually unheard of in the healthcare industry. Over the span of just a few short years, however, we have helped change all that.

Today, more than 325 hospitals across the country look to CHAN to manage their internal audit functions — functions that we helped them create.

I am energized by what our company has accomplished — and personally gratified when I see the impact our recommendations have had both on our individual clients’ operations and the healthcare industry as a whole. I often say that ours is more of a ministry than a business, and it is. It’s a ministry bent on helping hospitals and healthcare systems fulfill their missions. And that’s something that, in the long run, benefits us all.
