Chief Information Officer

Bart Cross joined CHAN in 2009 as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Technology continues to be a part of the CHAN business model; therefore the addition of a CIO will allow CHAN to further strengthen its leadership team, continue its success and to grow into the future. Mr. Cross is responsible for CHAN’s Technology strategy going forward.

His desire and passion to lead CHAN’s technology initiative derives from his loyalty, commitment, dedication, strong mind, and stronger will to succeed.  

Before joining CHAN, Mr. Cross served as the Executive Director of IT Operations for RGA Reinsurance Co. wherein he directed IT infrastructure and end-user support for 1,500 users in 24 locations world-wide. He has led large-scale initiatives for sizable non-profit health care systems (Sisters of Mercy – St. John’s Mercy Health Care, St. Louis), S&P 500 companies and mid-sized privately held organizations.

Mr. Cross earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from Auburn University. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and is an active practitioner of IT Service Delivery and Service Management with the IT Service Management Institute.

Mr. Cross serves his community as the Chairman of the St. Gerard Parish School of Religion Board.
